Day 42

We talked about some different animal adaptions today for our lesson. We visited the gibbons, tigers, and lions before snack. Then, we fed the goats and spent some time on the playground this morning. Thanks to some rain last night, it was actually pretty nice out this morning so we took advantage of it while we could.

After lunch, we made picture frames for our craft today. I had printed off some of the fun individual photos we had taken the other day.

On to this afternoon, our full day campers were all about doing some little craft projects of their own. Ralston made some bracelets.

The boys asked for some paper airplanes, and I am quite the paper plane maker :-)

While we were outside, I noticed an insect crawling up Eli, and I grabbed it to discover it was a bee. He just walked right up my arm, and I even got a photo. Woot!

Hero pops for afternoon snack on Thursdays! They're my favorite snack at zoo camp. Three different pops - the Hulk, Iron Man, and Spiderman.

Here's a photo of Oliver at the playground today. When the kids know I have my camera, they often say "Miss Jessica, take a picture." :-)

Tonight, as I was listening to Ryan's radio show, I learned that he wasn't even on last night because of a parade, so I didn't miss anything. haha. Then, I started chatting via instant message with my friend Stephen from Ireland. He spent this last school year at Morningside. Here's a photo I found of Stephen and I from this year. So crazy that I have a few friends from other parts of the world that I get to talk with every now and then.
