Day 43

Another Friday here and gone. We talked about dinosaurs and went and visited the dino exhibit before snack in the morning. After animal presentation, we rode the train. Eli and Ralston sat with me.

Came up with a new craft project for today. We made paper T-rex heads with movable jaws.

Today was the last day for Oliver, who has been with us for 5 total weeks of camp this summer. His mom owns a cupcake shop in Des Moines, and she made treats for our class today. The kids had little dirt cups, and she made some cupcakes for the counselors. I had the pina colada flavored one.

Also got a few hugs goodbye during checkout, which was cool. Sorry kind of a short post this time. I waited until Sunday to write it up and it's hard to remember what all I wanted to post, especially since I had a lot of other things going on this weekend.
